Copacabana Palace
The Copacabana Palace is a historic luxury hotel facing Copacabana beach, designed by French architect Joseph Gire and opened on August 13, 1923.
Now a Belmond property with 243 rooms across its main and annex buildings, it has repeatedly been voted the best hotel in South America, including a World Travel Award win in 2009. LVMH bought the Copacabana Palace and the rest of the Belmond portfolio in 2018.
